Hospitals, Computers, Snow, and Red.

This week has been hectic, a hospital visit for my foot, an injection in the toe to reduce swelling, and then, dozens of PC repair jobs, it was like the whole of Staten Island decided to screw up their computers, and find my flyers up....On the same day. I cant complain as it has been a good money maker, but I still have scheduled jobs to do and I think I should get a Secretary. Then comes the Snow... Backbreaking work, muscle cramps, and cash, Bust your ass for 30-40 mins at the larger houses, make 40 + Tips, averaged about 50-60 a house, I have a regular route of places to visit and, i got 100 from one house, because i saved their tenant during the December storm. Red Dead Redemption The GTA of the Wild West, its fun and i end up shooting the hell out of stuff than actually doing missions.

Tables and a lack of stee0-ltoed boots

Last week in class I decided to go one way to exit the class which was somewhat of a maze of going, when sliding the table out to go through, it fell and consequently I re-broke my toe. I have been having trouble walking over the past few days, and I have been following the heat and ice methods to bring the swelling down. as of this morning, I am able to bend it with pain, but it still bends, that's progress, and i love progressing forward. Hoping its all good by next week so I can dance at the rave.

Why I Dislike staten island

I have many reasons for disliking this isolated place the first one being, This Island is just that, an isolated piece of land surrounded by water. to get to the city, one must take a train to a ferry to a train, or a bus over a bridge to a train. When it snows heavy, the trains and buses do not run, and then you cant get off the island without your own modes of transportation. There is nothing to do on Staten Island and it is comparable to a prison. Inescapable and dull.
We have a Mall here, cleverly named "The Mall" it must have taken them months to come up with that name.

I dislike Staten Island, because the roads here suck, forget a pothole, We have craters.
Its universally known, that the lack of suspension is directly related to the number of years you have owned your car and lived on Staten Island.

Wrong place at the right time

After class today on my way home, I was at 42nd Grand Central station waiting for the 4 or 5 to take me to bowling green so I could catch the ferry. But I made a mistake when going down the stairs and did not realize I was on the wrong platform. The 5 pulled in and I looked up to see it was the wrong train, out of the corner of my eye I see a sharp movement downward and without thinking I dove and I caught a little kid, about 11 or 12 who has missed the platform and was falling between the train and the gap, I started pulling him up, his mother was helping me and another older gentleman assisted me in getting his legs from between the train and the platform.  the child was screaming in pain, and I checked both his legs, Neither were broken but his knees were badly bruised from the initial drop.I waited with them for a few minutes until MTA personnel came down and when they arrived I went and got on the 4 to go home. As I sat on the ferry I was left thinking How I made a small mistake, my lack of attention to which flight of steps I went down, put me in the wrong place at the right time.
